What we require, to run our business our way.

The central SDS data base is fully compliant and compatible with standard Microsoft applications such as Excel. This has allowed us to extract raw data from the central system to support the development of many unique and customized applications supporting our sales and service marketing strategies. The end result is that we have been able to work around the most common complaint from many users of turn-key systems, which is the system supplied Reports and Inquiries are not always exactly what we require, to run our business our way.

We also find the support at SDS to be excellent. We are still dealing with the same staff that did our install almost three years ago. They know us and they know how we operate, and that is invaluable to our dealership. Problem/Question response times have generally been well within our expectations and the new releases and system upgrades have proven to be timely and responsive to our requests and requirements.

Unsurpassed support and performance

Valley Equipment installed the Serti SDS system in October 2003. The learning curve for this system was less than half what our previous system was. The system has enabled us to improve our vehicle tracking and costing hence our bottom line. Also it lets us follow parts and service gross profits on a daily basis which helps the department managers increase their profits. I am very happy with the cash flow program which saves me at least one day per month and makes it very easy to keep up to date on my cash position. The month end programs are easy to proform and save me at least 4 days at month end to complete the month end statements.

All in all I am very happy with the performance the system and the support of the Serti group.

Painless Transition

The transfer to Serti software was a much better experience than we had expected. There was no comparison to any change like this we made in the past. The install, data conversion, training and support have all been very good. Business results did not suffer the week of the install. In general, the software and system have been flawless.

We are finding every day new processes to help us run a better dealership. I know this will result in us managing a more profitable business. The move to the Serti software has been painless.
